The long-awaited City of Dreams Mediterranean is finally one step away from opening its gates to the public and, according to initial estimates, more than 300,000 visitors from all over the world are expected annually to the island of Cyprus and Limassol to experience the unparalleled experience it promises.

This is the first Integrated Resort in Europe and the €550 million invested in the construction of the City of Dreams is the largest tourism investment ever made in Cyprus.

The benefits for the country’s economy are expected to be even higher, as the resulting tourism will generate €700 million per year, an amount equivalent to 4% of GDP.

What does the City of Dreams Mediterranean Casino offer?

The City of Dreams Mediterranean is newly crowned the biggest Casino in Cyprus.

After repeated postponements, with the pandemic of the past two years being the main cause, the second quarter of 2023 has been set as the most likely time for the opening of City of Dreams Mediterranenan.

The project has additionally experienced some delays and difficulties with its contractors, but all that seems to be in the past and may even be put into operation a little earlier, although nothing can be said for sure yet.

Throughout its construction phase, the project has provided around 4000 jobs and once fully operational, City of Dreams Mediterranean will employ around 2500 workers.
